In pursuance of Section 11(5) of the Act 857, the Annual Professional and Licence for all Allied Health Professionals expires on December 31, 2017. Accordingly, the Council wishes to inform all Allied Health Practitioners that renewal application for 2018 has been opened.

Deadline line for registration is January 31, 2018 after which the Council will cause to be gazetted and publish the names of people in good standing to practise as Allied Health Professionals and thereafter appropriate sanctions under the Act will be applied to defaulters.

The Council further wishes to warn all practising Allied Health Practitioners who have not registered with the Council that appropriate measures are being put in place to ensure the enforcement of the relevant provisions under the Act to protect the Ghanaian population.

Employment agencies (both public and private) are also reminded that it is offence liable on summary conviction under Section 21(c) (j) of the Act, to employ or engage the services of a non-registered practitioner.

For renewal of registration 2017 PIN Cards, applicants are requested to download this DOCUMENT, fill the form, pay the required fee and submit the Form and the Banks’ paying-in slip to Council for issuance of the Pin Cards. Applicants are also required to provide evidence of CPD activities. A minimum of ten (10) credit hours is required for renewal of registration


For professionals who defaulted in renewing the 2017 Pin Cards, they should click HERE and complete the online registration. Applicants are advised to scan their certificates and passport size photograph in JPG format. Applicants in this category should select “Renew Old member” when selecting the professions portal.

Applicants’ new registration category should select “New Members” at the professions portal.

The registration fee for Renewal is:

BSc/ Msc ----- GHC 150
Diploma ------  GHC 100
Certificate --    GHC 80

The registration fee for First Time Applicants is GHC 200
